Endometriose Foreningen, Denmark
Lone co-founded the Danish Endometriosis Society and chaired it for seven years (1997-2004). She was instrumental in the implementation of national guidelines for the treatment of endometriosis (the only country in the world to have these). During her time as chair she produced 34 newsletters, oversaw four national information campaigns, and co-organised, co-chaired, and presented at nine national meetings.
